DB Schenker global logistics front and centre

DB Schenker, the transportation and logistics arm of international rail firm Deutsche Bahn, has partnered with MEGATRANS2018.

The transport and logistics service provider and freight forwarder is now an official Partner of the new multi-modal event, which takes over the Melbourne Convention and Convention Centre from 10 – 12 May 2018.

The event will cover the entire supply chain from point of origin to point of sale – including the wider infrastructure and logistics industry.

Spread across a 30,000m2 footprint, MEGATRANS2018 will distinguish between four distinct functional areas, including Logistics and Materials Handling, Warehouse & Storage, Infrastructure; Road Transport and Air, Sea & Rail.

A technology showcase will straddle the entire exhibition floor to reinforce the importance of technological trends such as Internet of Things, Industry 4.0, Intelligent Infrastructure and Intelligent Multimodal Transport Solutions.
