Keynote speaker announced for Global Shippers Forum

The US Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) Commissioner will be a keynote speaker at the upcoming Global Shippers Forum in Melbourne on 10-11 May.

The Commissioner, Rebecca Dye, will present on supply chain visibility and performance and will provide an update on the ongoing investigations into container detention and demurrage.

Ms. Dye was first appointed by President George W Bush and confirmed by the US Senate on 14 November 2002.

The Commissioner joins presenters from the World Bank, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and the World Customs Orgranisation.

The Global Shippers Forum is the global peak body for cargo owners. The 2018 event is hosted by Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA), the International Cargo Handling Coordination Association (ICHCA) and the Australian Peak Shippers Association (ASPA).
