Automation leaders set for MEGATRANS2018

Sensor manufacturer SICK has signed up for a prime position in the supply chain trade event’s Technology Showcase, with spots filling up fast.

Specialising in factory, logistics and process automation, SICK provides sensor and application solutions vital to controlling processes securely and efficiently along different facets of the supply chain sector.

Bringing its expertise to MEGATRANS2018 from 10-12 May next year, SICK is bolstering the popular Technology Showcase section of the event, which runs through the 30,000 square metres at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre.

“Even though we only launched MEGATRANS2018 recently, we’ve already had a large amount of interest in the Technology Showcase component of the show because it has such a central part to play in the supply chain,” says Show Director Simon Coburn, adding that the recurring technology section serves to reinforce the importance of trends in the industry.

“The Technology Showcase runs through each separate component of the show and incorporates the TCA Technology Hub, which already includes the likes of MiX Telematics, Teletrac Navman and Tramanco,” he says,

The multi-modal show comprises a number of other main sections, including Logistics & Materials Handling/Warehousing & Storage; Road Transport; Air, Sea & Rail; and Infrastructure.
