Leading trailer manufacturer Barker Trailers has signed on to exhibit at MEGATRANS2018, building on last week’s announcement that truck manufacturer Isuzu has joined the event as Platinum Sponsor.
Established in 1974, Barker Trailers is a name synonymous with quality design and custom built trailers that last a lifetime.
The company marks its 44th year of local manufacturing and it will now add to this hallmark year by appearing at MEGATRANS2018.
Priding itself on trailer innovation encompassing linehaul, bulk haulage, PBS and skeletal technology as well as custom-built solutions, Barker Trailers’ comprehensive service offerings are an exciting addition to the supply chain events growing Road Transport showcase.
Barker Trailers Sales and Marketing General Manager Rod Cunningham says the company will exhibit some new releases as well as tried and tested designs at the show.
“MEGATRANS2018 offers Barker Trailers the opportunity to showcase the latest freight solutions in multimodal and bulk haulage logistics. We get to rub shoulders with our long list of loyal clients as well as discuss the changing needs of the market with Logistics professional from both Australia and abroad,” says Mr. Cunningham.
“Barker delivers trailers built to last, just like our relationships with our clients. We have had some clients since the inception of the business that are now multi generational and have purchased hundreds of units from Barkers.”
MEGATRANS2018 Show Director Simon Coburn is excited about the recent addition of both Barker Trailers and Isuzu to the businesses supporting the show.
“It’s absolutely amazing to have such a prestigious business as Isuzu come on board with MEGATRANS2018 as a Platinum Sponsor. To have leading trailer manufacturers such as Barker Trailers sign up so early on as well, tells us that the show’s Road Transport section will be a hive of activity when the event rolls around next year”.
“Truck and trailer manufacturers play such an important role in the movement of goods, and MEGATRANS2018 is all about encouraging manufacturers, trailer builders and fleet operators to really come out and show just how significant their business and services are within the Australian supply chain.”
The show makes its debut 10 to 12 May 2018 at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, based in the heart of the one of Australia’s major logistics hubs and one of the world’s most liveable cities – Melbourne.
Connecting the Australian and international supply chain, the three-day expo will bring together those who plan, implement and control the efficient and effective forward flow and storage of goods, services and related information between the point of origin and point of consumption.
