Picavi makes Australian debut at MEGATRANS2018
Industrial racking and warehouse storage solutions company Stow will unveil its new Picavi pick by vision system for the first time in Australia at MEGATRANS2018 this May.
“The Picavi pick by vision system utilises Google glasses with customised software to provide a “heads up” type display for operators to maintain total “hands free picking”. This technology not only provides faster picking rates but also improves accuracy,” explains Martin Bates, Stow National Sales Manager.
The Picavi will be on show at the logistics and supply chain trade show, held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre, in addition to some of Stow’s core product range, such as its mobile racking and Atlas shuttle system.
Mr. Bates says Stow was drawn to MEGATRANS2018 because of the breadth of the show and number of industries involved.
“Stow sees the show as a key branding exercise as well as introducing our new Picavi pick by vision technology to Australian customers,” he says.
“I believe this show has the potential to be the “must attend event” on the Australian calendar for the logistics and supply chain sector. The fact it’s a one-stop-shop across multiple sectors appeals as potential customers can review new innovation and technology across a very broad, logistics-focused base.”
