Jessica Hall, First Assistant Secretary – Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Communications
Jessica Hall is the First Assistant Secretary for the Australian Government’s Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts. In this role, Ms Hall is responsible for providing advice on Major Transport and Infrastructure Projects. In this role Ms Hall oversees the government’s delivery of Inland Rail and Western Sydney Airport. Prior to this, Ms Hall held a number of senior positions in the infrastructure, science and education portfolios, having worked on economic and social policy issues in the Australian Public service for over 15 years. She has undertaken an Executive program in infrastructure financing at Harvard Kennedy School, and has Master degrees in International Law and Asian Studies.
